We'll start your experience with a pick-up from your accommodation by your specialised guide. Prepare to be dazzled during this full-day excursion ahead of you. As we travel into the Douro region, you'll marvel at the beautiful views that surround you along the way and listen to the tips and highlights that your guide will reveal to you. You can take the opportunity to take photos or video when we stop at one of the region's most beautiful panoramic viewpoints.
We will visit a renowned local winery where we will enjoy a guided tour and learn about the winemaking process, followed by a wine tasting with a selection of three varieties of wine. Additionally, we will enjoy a delicious lunch at the winery, where we will sample typical Portuguese cuisine dishes accompanied by exquisite Douro DOC wines.
After lunch, we will embark on our one-hour cruise and sail along the calm waters of the Douro River, enjoying panoramic views of the natural landscape. Relax on deck while the Douro River flows around you.
Next, we will visit another local winery, where we will enjoy a second wine tasting with an additional selection of three varieties, all made with the typical grapes of the region. Again, our expert guides will explain the wine production process and how the Douro Valley region became famous for its wine production.
